This is another quote project, this time experimenting with lino-printing. Each one of the letters is my favorite character from several unique typefaces. This was assembled and transfered onto the lino to cut by hand. The finished prints are shown above. As with all of the experiments the idea was to get the most creative print and the most “standardized or professional” print ie an even print. I managed to achieve a full print by increasing the pressure on the pull press. Using a mixture of mono and lino printing creates a very interesting outcome.
