Dream within a dream.
This is another project which is part of a larger quote project running through the course of this year. This quote is a famous one by Edgar Alan Poe “All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream”. I have depicted this quote with two types of typefaces a sans and a black-letter overlapped to create a new combination. Taking in account the direction of my work this semester aiming at achieving 3-dimensions in print the design imitates 3d pictures with slightly offset overprinting of red and green.
This artwork is 3-colour print on 300gsm snowdon. Colours are Emerald Green, Bright Red and a 50% Black. This print run was a limited number of 35 – 20 Wide and 15 Slim.
